Tipard All Music Converter provides a generous list of beneficial features and makes its use as an MP3 converter simple. The list of compatible formats is laudable if not elite. All-in-all, it’s a healthy MP3 conversion software that has been significantly discounted from its original $40 price tag down to a nice bargain price of $15.
The trial version only permits converting five minutes of a file that exceeds that length. If the file is less than five minutes long, the trial version only converts half the file.
Conversion Features: 
This MP3 converter software's options for customizable conversions are fairly average. For example, when converting files to MP3s, you have the options to specify the sample rate, bitrate, and channels.
After selecting all the desired settings for a specific conversion format (e.g. output to MP3 with a sample rate of 44100Hz, 192kbps bitrate, and two-channels-stereo), you can save those settings as a Profile, so you don’t have to alter individual settings every time you switch conversion formats.12 output formats are available. All the traditional formats are included (M4A, WMA, MP3, OGG, et al) along with some more obscure types like MKA.
Only Add Files exists, so you can’t select entire folders, which seriously slows down the process when undertaking a long list of conversions from multiple artists. An Add Folder button would be welcomed in future versions.
Conversion speeds rely on standard settings like bitrate and sample rate. Although even on higher settings, speeds were considerably higher than other programs when the same settings were replicated.
Again, nothing like Tunebite’s High-Speed Dubbing process is included, so each file must be converted individually. You can select multiple files for conversion, but Tipard still handles each one-by-one during the process.
We didn’t notice any skipping from files – even when other programs were being used in the background during conversions (which can damage the final result). The lack of background processes interfering with conversions reinforces Tipard’s quality.
Additional Features: 
Because Tipard Audio Converter is solely intended to be MP3 converter software, it comes as no surprise that any additional features are rare and relatively sparse.
It does allow subtitles, but we could not figure out how to get them to work. Even after consulting the Help section and Tipard’s website, we still could not find a resolution to the problem.The one other extra is the Audio Trimmer, which, naturally, allows trimming files. You can also merge two files into one.
You also have the ability to extract audio from video files. The process is extremely simple and quick.
Interface: 
The interface of this MP3 converter software deviates from the more simplistic, minimalist skins seen in programs like SoundTaxi. Tipard still utilizes a lightweight skin, meaning it only takes up a small portion of the screen and isn’t cluttered with tons of icons or buttons.
However, the developers obviously put effort into designing a more aesthetically pleasing skin. Most of it is sleek black with gold gradients and trim (though it appears more like bronze or copper).Under General Options, you can select the language and skin.
Ease of Use: 
For anyone who’s used a file conversion program in the past, Tipard Audio Converter will feel extremely familiar. All the icons are self-explanatory; the menus are sparse and direct.
We never encountered any software issues like freezing or crashing. Conversions didn’t even skip.Support: 
The Help contents are relatively sparse. It does contain details and instructions for handling tasks, but because the program is so easy to understand and intuitive, those directions probably won’t be needed for the majority of users, especially ones who have converted files in the past.
The Tipard website contains helpful tutorials that are almost duplicates of the instructions in the Help contents, although the site’s instructions are a bit more detailed.Within the Tutorial section, Tipard also includes a Glossary and a FAQs page. The FAQs page relates mostly to questions about purchasing the software: what’s available in the trial version vs. the purchased version, etc.
